Children’s Ministry

Teach, Equip & Uplift

Our children's ministry team wants to see the next generation grow strong in the teachings of the gospel.

Every Sunday 10:30 AM Children's Sunday School

14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” -Mark 10:14-15

We are so thankful for you. As always, we are striving to keep your children safe while in our care at church. We want to continue to keep everyone healthy and safe. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Babies through preschool age children may check in at the beginning of church before the worship service.

Upon Arrival:

All workers and children will have their temperatures taken upon arrival (touchless thermometer). If your child has a temperature of 99.5 or higher upon arrival, your child will not be allowed to stay. If a fever develops during their time in the classroom, the child will be removed from other children and parents will be called for pickup.

Drop off and Pickup Procedures:

  • Please take your child to the restroom before checking into a classroom.
  • We ask that only one parent/guardian come to the preschool area for drop-off & pick-up (No siblings).
  • Please practice 6 ft. spacing while waiting to check your child in.
  • Please pick up your children immediately following the end of service so there is time to clean and sanitize the classrooms.

Preschool Area Procedures:

  • Hand sanitizer will be located at the entrances for everyone’s protection.
  • No diaper bags/tote bags of any sort should be sent with your children. If you need to leave supplies or a change of clothes, we will provide a clear Ziploc bag to be labeled with your child’s name.
  • Those children who are still using bottles or sippy cups may have a second Ziploc bag with written instructions provided for the teacher.
  • Teachers and children will be required to wash or sanitize their hands upon arriving in a classroom. Teachers will prompt children to wash their hands regularly while in the classroom.
  • Classroom teachers and children will not wear masks.
  • Please let us know if your child has food allergies. Teachers will use gloves to distribute snacks.
  • Teachers use gloves when diapering and follow good hand washing hygiene. Changing tables will be cleaned and sanitized after each use. These are already practiced procedures.
  • Toys that are used by a child will be removed and sanitized before another child uses it.
  • Supplies for projects and activities will be individualized, disinfected or discarded after class.
  • Classroom surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized after church.
  • All children will experience the love of Jesus!

We are so thankful for you. As always, we are striving to keep your children safe while in our care at church. We want to continue to keep everyone healthy and safe. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

After the worship time in the sanctuary with their families, elementary school age children (1st-5th grade) will be dismissed to go to Children’s Church with the teachers.

Please pick up your children at the Children’s Worship Center immediately following the end of service so there is time to clean and sanitize the classrooms.

Before entering Children’s Church:

All workers and children will use the restroom, wash hands and have their temperatures taken (touchless thermometer). If your child has a temperature of 99.5 or higher, your child will not be allowed to stay.  If a fever develops during their time in the classroom, the child will be removed from other children and parents will be called for pickup.

Elementary Area Procedures:

  • Hand sanitizer will be located at the entrances for everyone’s protection.
  • Teachers will not wear masks. Children are welcome to wear masks.
  • There will be no shared supplies. Each child will be provided personal supplies for projects & activities.
  • Any used supplies that cannot be disinfected or washed will be discarded.
  • After church, the classrooms will be disinfected.
  • Everyone will have a good time growing closer to Jesus and the understanding of his Word.

Social Distancing Concerns- This is a difficult concept for children to understand.  Elementary age children will gather in the Children’s Worship Center (located in the building to the south across the covered walkway).  Children will be asked to sit in designated seating. Teachers will be asked to help kids maintain social distance guidelines.  Children will be expected to comply with the teacher’s leadership and social distancing requirements in order to remain in the classroom.
